When I was twelve, my cousin discovered my mother’s Harlequin Presents stash, and so began my love of all things romance. I became an avid reader with a total inability to put a good book down. In fact, I got detention in physics when my teacher caught me reading Kathleen Woodiwiss in class.  Can you blame me?

All the signs that I was meant to be a romance writer were there.

I’ve taken a circuitous road to get here. Film school, to law school and business school. I’ve worked for the government at the state and federal levels and practiced law for more years than I want to count. I’ve lived in Washington, DC, Maryland, California, Virginia and Nevada. Through it all, reading and writing were there.

Four years ago, I decided that tomorrow is never guaranteed and stopped putting off my dreams. It was finally time to let all the characters in my head tell their stories. I write contemporary, historical and paranormal romance and mysteries with a heavy dose of romance.

I currently live in Las Vegas, Nevada with a husband I probably don’t deserve, two cats and two dogs, all named after television crime fighters. I love hearing from my readers and can’t wait to share more of my stories.
